Caps are one of the most re-ordered promotional items because they wear out or get lost faster than uniforms — we keep the embroidery file on hand so repeat batches don’t need new digitising.
A cap is one of the few items people wear voluntarily and outdoors, which is why branded caps in Kenya are so common at construction sites, farms, political and community campaigns, church events, sports days and company roadshows. A good cap protects from the sun, carries a logo at eye level and costs little compared with a full uniform.
MoveBrands is a Nairobi Kasarani-based manufacturer. We embroider caps in-house and offer a range of styles. Visit our shop in Kasarani, Nairobi to try caps on, compare fabric and see how a logo looks on the front panel before ordering in bulk.
| Style | Look and feel | Suits | Branding notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6-panel structured | Firm front, rounded crown | Corporate staff, security, schools | Flat front panel suits embroidery well |
| 5-panel unstructured | Soft, relaxed fit | Casual wear, creative teams | Logo may need a slightly smaller size |
| Trucker mesh-back | Foam front, mesh back for airflow | Outdoor teams, events, giveaways | Foam front is good for bold logos |
| Bucket or sun hat | Wide brim | Farm work, field days | Check logo placement on the brim or front |
| Beret | Soft, flat crown | Security, ceremonial uniforms | See security uniforms |
A structured six-panel cap in cotton twill is the safest option for most companies. Mesh-back caps are cooler for long outdoor days, for example in Mombasa or Garissa, but they look less formal.
Embroidery digitising is a one-time setup, and we keep the file so repeat batches need no new digitising. See our embroidery page for the full process. For large simple prints, screen printing is an option on some cap fabrics.
Typical buyers include construction and agricultural firms, churches and youth groups, schools with sports and club caps, political and civic campaign teams, SACCOs, and brands running a product activation. The common thread is a need for many visible items on short notice. If caps are part of a wider staff outfit, ask for them to be quoted with your corporate wear so thread colours match the polos and jackets.
We deliver from Nairobi to Thika, Machakos, Kiambu, Nakuru, Nyahururu, Eldoret, Kisumu, Kakamega, Bungoma, Meru, Isiolo and Mombasa. Pair caps with branded polo shirts and other promotional items for a matching team look.
